Pelican 1520 Camera Case With Foam in Desert Tan Color Review

I bought this bag to store and organize my GoPro camera, chargers, batteries, other accessories and the Osmo pocket camera. This case is overkill for this use, but I prefer it. I can put it on the floor of my truck and my grandkids can step on it and do whatever they want and I know my stuff will be safe inside. Love Pelican case. My first was a 1690 which I bought to bivouac for 3 months. Set it up with an external waterproof AC power plug and internal USB ports for 5V DC charging. There's no better way to protect what you need. The only thing that bothers me is that it only comes with pick n pluck foam. I didn't have the patience to cut it properly but a friend had the patience and did a fantastic job. It holds three high quality handguns and has free space. I've finally found a Pelican case that's the perfect size for my AR-15 pistol. Coincidentally, the "Desert Tan" cost the same as the black case and it matched my gun. It took me a while to decide if I wanted red or black but why not do it now when it doesn't cost more money. My pistol has a standard handgun buffer tube and the barrel is a 7.5" free float flat point. I have magpul flip up scopes on it which is good because the red dot scope doesn't fit. I also have a small streamlight underneath

I've long been a big fan of Pelican cases and this case was no exception. I keep Pelikan cases for the most delicate and expensive items I own and recently purchased a Labradar Ballistic Chronograph.
