Review on Pelican 1520 Camera Case With Foam in Desert Tan Color by Christian Byrd

I've long been a big fan of Pelican cases and this case was no exception. I keep Pelikan cases for the most delicate and expensive items I own and recently purchased a Labradar Ballistic Chronograph. Being orange I wanted to find a case that would work with it and noticed that Pelican makes orange cases. I usually buy Storm cases, not Protector cases. I think I prefer the snaps and lightness of an assault case, but this case is built like armor and I'm 100% sure it will withstand absolutely anything I can throw at me, and some others. I buy Pelican because I want the best; Great cases like this are an investment/insurance for whatever you put in it. A note on foam. This case comes with "pick and pluck" foam. I personally am not a fan of it. I made my own hot wire cutter (you can find articles and videos online on how to do this). This allows me to cut the styrofoam the way I like instead of having to rip out hundreds of blocks. You might prefer to choose, but that's not for me. I had spare foam I bought for a previous project that I could cut to size for this case, so I chose that over the foam that came with the case.
