Review on ElecGear PS4 Auto Cooling Fan - USB Cooler with Temperature Sensor Control, Enhances Heat Exhaust for Playstation 4 CUH-1xxx by Howie Broyles

So my PS4 is one of the whitest originals and it's starting to overheat lately. Even after moving it to a better spot with more airflow, I still noticed it. Then my system flashed red, and after cleaning it of dust that had accumulated inside, I decided to try this product. The first few weeks were pretty quiet. Subtle, just a little more noise, but not so much that it distracts me from gaming. Unfortunately, after those few weeks, it started making a very loud revs noise. Not even in turbo mode, it just has a terrible spinning/grinding sound. Although after a while it calms down a bit. This helps remove some of the heat from the system. I'm glad to see it, but to be honest I'm not sure if it helps that much. When I installed another small fan on the side to draw some heat away from that area. Plus added a few small USB fans to help some.
