My son really wanted some walkie-talkies after seeing his dad using them at work. He's only two and a half, so I wanted a pair that would be easy for him to use (not too many buttons). They work well, but you have to hold the button and wait a few seconds before you can start talking, and it's hard for him to get used to. We also happened to overhear other people talking about them, which was a bit odd. They seem pretty cheap, but he still enjoys them.
