Review on 6-Quart Round Food Storage Container - Cambro RFS6PP190 - Translucent Polypropylene - NSF Certified by Black Croom

I've decided to improve this and lower my rating. I've bought several of these. I don't really care about lids, so I mostly use a container. No problem until the end. Why, oh why did Amazon add stickers? Dear Amazon, stop it. The stickers are difficult to remove even after soaking, and you don't want to use chemicals even if they're on the outside as this is a food-level container. --------------- ------ I give 5 stars because it is exactly what I expected. Food restaurant buckets. I can't verify how it's made, but it looks the same as any restaurant. It's a bit more than I need, but that's my problem. Anyway, when I ordered this I knew the lids would have to be purchased separately but figured it didn't matter because I could always wrap it up and come up with something to cover it. But I'm lucky. Turns out I had two 9 inch Pyrex lids that fit these buckets perfectly. I can't remember why I kept two in my closet, but turns out hoarding pays off sometimes. Before I got any comments from Nissen complaining about finding and buying Pyrex caps. NO, I'm not saying you should buy a set of Pyrex bowls just so you can get the lids. Just saying these bowl lids will do and my measurements were 9 inches in diameter. I'm pretty sure you can find replacement caps cheaper than the official ones. I am not paid or compensated for this review and I have little tolerance for fools these days .update: Actually I'm glad I didn't get them with a lid because since I bought them I've got a few others as well Bought sizes and the lids that came with them aren't as good as the pyrex lids, I've had pyrex lids fit tighter on the container. Not waterproof, but pretty tight. So good that I've decided to use the 2 I bought for rice storage and I plan to buy more for food storage, not just long term storage but things like chips too so they last longer before they get old. BTW, 25 pounds of rice goes in almost two of those 6 liters.
