Review on Panasonic SL SV590W Personal D Sound Technology by Greg Baker

I had a previous model of the same CD/MP3 player and loved it. It lasted a few years so I bought it. The sound is good (nice bass), good headphones (although I use headphones bought elsewhere) and the price is reasonable. BUT, they redesigned this model from the previous one I had and put the battery compartment in a difficult position. The folded cover will get in the way of your fingers when you try to pull out the two AA batteries from inside. But it's manageable. They've also redesigned the display, which is harder to read than the old model. Although overall worth the money.
