Until I turned off dolby digital encoding for this soundbar on the TV, the sound was like from a rusty barrel. I already thought that such darkness was caught. But no, this technique is trying to be smarter than me. Switched to pure PCM (anyway, this box does not support anything sensible, only a heavily compressed AC3 telecom) - it became just fine. Especially if you remove the bass a little, there are a little more of them than necessary.
- Normal sound. Of course, it is strange to expect some kind of super peaks from a plastic box, but for a plastic box with a subwoofer, the sound is normal. Fairly well-detailed at the top, mid-range is also quite nice. There are no shortcomings for films at all - it booms when necessary, it plays nicely. Music has its own characteristics, but for this money - you can say that it is not. I paired with the [Sony] TV without hesitation, I found the sub myself without prompting.
- Sometimes a lot of bass. Equalizers are zero everywhere, so the sparkle setting is a bit bassy, not beats of course, but the bass is more than necessary, you have to turn it down.
