The Alcantara case is nothing fancy, overall it's a great case and keyboard combination and you should get one to complement the look of your new Surface Go to complete. The cover material on the outside is very pleasant to the touch, similar to the keyboard side, but not as good as the outside. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, with little key travel, and for a tiny keyboard, typing is surprisingly comfortable. It's a bit confusing at times since the layout is densely packed, but you get used to it very quickly. The keyboard has three levels of backlight brightness, it's bright during the day and in low light. It attaches fairly firmly to the Surface Go with a magnet, so be careful not to pull it out too hard. My issue with the keyboard is that the arrow keys aren't great, but they did require some sacrifice. The mouse pad is small, so you need a mouse on the Surface Go. I think it would be nicer if it was magnetic on the lip as it opens like a door ajar. It's worth buying, especially if you want to be pampered.
