High quality cotton with a soft texture.
The material is nice and strong but as many have said the texture is very soft. I don't have an iron like the instructions say, but honestly it doesn't seem to help much. The worst creases are at the bottom, so I had to insert the lid into the bottom to give it at least some structural integrity. As there is no iron I tossed a damp towel in the dryer on high for 80 minutes and this removed some of the wrinkles. Overall I find it expensive because it literally just tips over.
