I really only have one complaint. Everything OK, when I tried to loosen the speaker screws to insert the speaker cable with the screwdriver that was sent to me, the screws were so tight that the screwdriver blew them out. Luckily I had a backup. Another complaint I have is that the power cord is very flimsy. But other than that, I love this little amp. I used it with the 12v battery recommended above. For a test run I did as they told me and hooked up a 6 inch speaker or subwoofer to see how well it would handle the bass. He coped well. The ability to drop the base is actually a very good option. The same with the highs. I will say that with two 3 inch speakers I actually heard it when I was 20 feet away. The little amp is so compact it's great for mounting, which is what I wanted to do. Open space is not heated. And today I was able to complete the installation but I just wanted to say that for $20 I honestly have no complaints, I love this little amp and you should really consider buying it.
