Despite the many bad reviews, this monitor is a good buy. This monitor surprised me with its high refresh rate, especially at only $299.99. Most of the negative reviews had more to do with FEDEX/UPS errors during shipping than actual monitor performance. And while it would be nice to have 1440p on a 27-inch screen, it remains crisp at normal distances. Compared to Alienware's 240Hz monitor, although the material quality is a bit lower, Viotek still has the same features as 240Hz, 1ms. Response time, 1080p. In addition, Viotek has a 2-inch larger screen. So in summary this monitor is a great buy and the only reason it doesn't have 5/5 stars is that it doesn't support 1440p (I know the price will go up). TLDR: This is a great monitor with great features. a definite win for the price, and the only downside is that it's 1440p.
