At first touch I was seriously disappointed. Turns out PVC fabric is lightweight because it's so thin, which is almost unbelievable for a backpack. My first thought was that it would tear or puncture something at the first opportunity, but everything I've read since I received it tells me that PVC fabric is durable and hence used for backpacks. If so, then that's amazing. It has a slightly disconcerting plastic feel that I'll get over if it holds up over the long run. I love its streamlined look and the fact that it's waterproof. The glossy stripes, meant to keep traffic out, are muted in daylight, which I also like. It doesn't have the plethora of external pockets that most backpacks have, and it makes me feel like I'm hiking for a few days instead of spending a day in the city. There are water bottle pockets on the sides and a slim pocket on the back. It seems like a good spot for a phone, but it's also the most accessible for thieves, so not too many. Inside - God bless the designer - NOT black. It's light green so you can actually see things inside. I'm so sick of digging in dark pockets I could scream. But like the outside, the inside is also very minimalistic. Just a few bags and nothing else. My conclusion is a sleek, practical city backpack - sleek and discreet. You will be able to move through the crowd without clinging to anything or bumping into people, carry a water bottle and fill it up at will. I would suggest organizing your small items (charging cords, small electronics, and personal items) in small bags or cases, otherwise you'll end up making a disorganized mess by digging things up your way.
