Review on URO Parts 038 121 Thermostat by Chase Steele
LEAKS LEAKS Thermostat housing
No matter what I did, it leaked. Checked twice to make sure I had the o-ring in place (between this housing and the new thermostat) and tightened to 11 ft.lbs (factory spec, both times) and the leak was worse the second time. VW wants $100 for his! I think next time I'll try an aluminum case.
