lightbulbs do the job but are a bit more expensive than regular lightbulbs. The bulbs themselves are fine, but I would definitely prefer to buy lights that use a regular type A bulb. Given that I had a burnout in a year, I don't entirely agree with the energy saving estimates sold for this type of lamp.
