depending on the light output and color. I personally like both, I went with the 3000k because I like warm light, I never liked daylight bulbs. Too blue for me. Dimming (or two-level light control) is useless. The light does not emit enough light to be useful when it reaches the 2nd dimming level. Maybe for some reason the output is 10% and it's actually blinking at that lower value. However, there are two things to consider: whether the microwave manufacturer's switch that controls the light function is designed to drive an LED (in the case of dimmers, these must be designed for LEDs) and secondly, how good the circuit board is on the LED lamp. I'm sure they'll get better over time, but I still didn't expect these bulbs to perform at the same level as your incandescent bulbs. To me it's fur, but I'll take it for the price I paid.
