Purchased this to replace one of those red novelty dragon steam diverters that were advertised to fit the Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus, which did NOT fit. So glad I made this purchase. This works great for diverting the steam away from cabinets and ceiling. Unfortunately, whenever I have it on the spout of my Instant Pot while it’s pressurizing, the weight of it pulls down and releases air, causing it to not come up to pressure as it should. Otherwise, great product and doesn’t hold a smell. (That’s a bonus, because I live with my husband and our three boys. Smells are everywhere :D )

Bought this for my mom who wanted something to redirect the steam when released. Due to the short cord of the Instapot, steam would end up hitting her cabinets which she was worried would damage the finish over time. Set up takes literally seconds and does a great job redirecting the steam where you want it to go. Been using it for months with no issues. Happy with my purchase!

It’s a nice little concept. A durable silicone nozzle to deflect damaging steam away from cabinets and faces. However, it doesn’t fit snugly on the pressure release bobbin. This means the first jet of steam shoots the silicone diverter straight off the Instant Pot lid like a rocket. You actually have to hold it in place with your fingers for it to work. This is one of those instant pot accessories that I sneered at in the beginning, and now absolutely love. It solves two problems:1) I no longer need to use tongs to vent the instant pot.2) My kitchen cabinets are hanging over nearly all of my countertops, and I was becoming increasingly concerned with the pressurized steam bath they received every time I vented the pressure cooker function. This diverter solves the problem.

This is a good solution for venting. Being able to change direction of the steam and vapor makes the instant pot much more usable.

Sure, this saves your cabinets. But it also saves you from getting scalded by steam. For those saying don't buy it that are owners of smart models of instant pot, I don't understand their complaints. In the advertisement, illustrated, with bright red background, it WARNS people that this won't work on Smart model instant pots. So much for literacy. If you own a smart model of instant pot, ignore this review. For everyone else, it's worth the 10 bucks I paid for this. Great safety equipment.

This is a must have addition for any Instapot. Saves your walls, cabinets and more importantly, saves you from burns.SADLY, I have to update this. If you have a Duo Plus, it does not fit onto the steam outlet. It's too large, designed for the steam release that has the lever on it. It falls right off my Duo Pot Plus with the separate vent/seal slide switch.

You still must be careful when you use this steam diverter and keep yourself out of the line of steam, it will burn you. But it does just what it was intended to do and puts the steam into the room, not bad in the winter, not straight up under or on your cabinets. It is very thick, and goes into the dishwasher or can be easily hand washed. If you have an instant pot you need one of these. This particular one is made for the Lux instant pot, mine is an 8qt.

I really like the steam release diverter because it keeps the steam from my instant pot from going upwards and instead outwards. It seems well made and sturdy. So far it has worked very well. I would suggest to somebody using it for the first time to have a towel over it because you're so used to the steam going upward that you don't realize the seam is about to start coming out straight and sometimes it's at you based on how the instant pot is situated on the counter.

This was a purchase for my Ninja Foodi 8-Qt 9-in-1 deluxe XL pressure cooker (FD104), etc. My previous electric pressure cooker was just not what I wanted, so when this was on sale (Prime Day) I decided to treat myself. I didn't like that upon releasing the pressure after pressure cooking, the steam spewed onto my cabinets. When I saw this device I decided to try it. Now I am glad I did. It fits perfectly and I am excited to use it. Let's get to cooking!

I am yet to use to use it, but this is my second purchase from Jess and the team at Two Day Direct and while it looks HUGE, I am excited to use it and see how it goes with the steam.I dont doubt this will disappoint me as my first purchase is still going and outlived my Crock Pot

I can now control release of steam from my Evo Duo much more easily. The diverter accessory allows me to release steam much more quickly and diffuses it effectively, without pushing all the steam upward, thus jeopardizing the paint on my ceiling. I should have bought it a long time ago!

This one fits the Instant Pots that have a large steam vent like the IP-LUX. Really useful when you don’t want your cabinets to get damage from steam. Also included was a sweet thank you note from the seller for supporting their small business. That was a nice touch!

I was so tired of my Instant Pot letting off steam underneath my cabinets. If I pulled the pot out from under the cabinet the steam would get all over the front of the cabinet. I do not have an island in my kitchen so the counter tops were the only place to use the pot. I purchased this steam defuser and used it for the first time today. It works perfectly. OMG! This little device is a life saver. No. Literally. A LIFE SAVER! We just recently renovated our kitchen with new cabinets and I swear my husband was gonna kill me eveytime I used my instapot and realeased the steam - right onto the underside of the new cabinets that he painstakingly spent hours installing. Now. The steam blows out and away from the cabinets. Making my husband a happy man and I get to cook without his complaints! Thank you !

Does what it says. Diverts the steam in whichever direction you prefer. Keeps wood and paint on shelving dry. The silicone could give off an odd odor during cooking.
