This is saving my cabinets from the steam damage.
You still must be careful when you use this steam diverter and keep yourself out of the line of steam, it will burn you. But it does just what it was intended to do and puts the steam into the room, not bad in the winter, not straight up under or on your cabinets. It is very thick, and goes into the dishwasher or can be easily hand washed. If you have an instant pot you need one of these. This particular one is made for the Lux instant pot, mine is an 8qt.
- Dishwasher safe for easy cleaning
- It may not do much to prevent scorching at the bottom of the pot
