This is one of those instant pot accessories that I sneered at in the beginning, and now absolutely love. It solves two problems:1) I no longer need to use tongs to vent the instant pot.2) My kitchen cabinets are hanging over nearly all of my countertops, and I was becoming increasingly concerned with the pressurized steam bath they received every time I vented the pressure cooker function. This diverter solves the problem.
