I ordered this to cut the PEX line to install two new hot water tanks. The cuts were clean and even, but I had to be sure to square up the cut as I went along. I assume that it will work well on other flexible pipes, but I would be cautious with rigid PVC pipes after reading the other reviews.After cutting, the PEX lines held well with the new sharkbite fittings, so these served the intended purpose without any issues. I cannot comment on the long-term durability, but I am rating them four stars for their ease of use and ability to do the job. As always, your mileage, preferences, and usage intents may vary. cheers!
