OK I'm a bad person, I don't write many product reviews. But I owe those dog boots a debt because they save lives. Here in Kansas City we are having one of the worst cold snaps I can remember. Our poor dog Georgie can hardly be on business trips with it. He raises one paw after the other and gives me a "please help me" look. This breaks my heart. So I ordered them and received them within 2 days. I didn't put them on the first time. He doesn't like it when someone plays with his paws. We went outside and he immediately dumped three of them. don't be discouraged. Then I just started putting them on his hind legs. He seemed a little more open to the idea. And I found that I had to pull those velcro straps really tight to keep them in place. After a few days he got to the point where he just stood there and almost asked me to put them on before he went out. And the pace continued to decrease. colder every day. After a few days I had to work on the front legs because now we have minus temperatures and a snowstorm. And now he's on all fours, so we can actually go outside and walk about 10 minutes, which is what he needs. I'm a bit unbelievable that he's doing this, but at the same time I'm happy. It takes a little practice and a little training on the part of the dogs, but my goodness what a wonderful result. I just can't say enough about her. And I like the firm rubber surface on the outsole. It sounds like a horse walking on dry tarmac, which I enjoy. But perfection on ice and snow. Thank you and my faithful horse Georgie :) thank you.
