Review on Emergence Capital by James Duffield

The team at Emerege is amazing! They are focused not only around their clients but also taking care of our employees as well which makes them stand out from other VC firms we’ve worked with previously. I have had no issues working with these guys so far - they always make sure to keep me informed about what's happening within my portfolio companies or if there has been any news that may impact one of those businesses/investments. As an early stage investor it can be difficult sometimes knowing when you should pull your money back (especially since most deals don't close until later rounds). This was the case for us though because some investments weren't quite ready yet financially speaking while others were already profitable enough where pulling would just result into losing more than making up by investing again soon after. We've closed four transactions thus far including two series A financings and multiple seed fundraisements all done under this partnership.
