I had a previous iPhone 6s version for several years and it worked fine. (I prefer a pull holster over one that requires you to lift a flap on the holster and pull your phone out.) The previous iPhone case showed some signs of wear after a few years. One corner broke off and after a few years others showed signs of impending failure, but it remained perfectly usable. One very minor complaint: the clip on the replacement I bought is stiffer than the old one, making it difficult to remove the strap.
