Review on 🚗 2021 CarlinKit Wireless CarPay Decoder Box for Audi A3 (2013-2019) - Update Original Screen, Android Auto Support, OEM Radio Compatible by Ryan Olsen

The instructions provided are terrible. I contacted Revain support and all they did was send me to a YouTube video that was useless. First, it wasn't a video of how to install a device, but a video of someone showing a device that was already installed. The video mentioned two screws on the back of the glove box but didn't explain where the second screw was. I installed the device and all I get is half of the image on the right side of the screen. I set the DIP switches to different settings and it made no difference. I had enough and decided to return it. Installing the glove box was a real pain. So I read in a review that if you have a premium sound system you need to connect the unit differently than the instructions say. Good to know, but too late for me. Based on other reviews the unit works well, but it also seems that the person who managed to get it to work with the Premium Sound system played with the connections a bit. Not for me. It wasn't worth risking damage to my car which would probably be quite expensive to repair.
