The clock and radio in this clock radio was simple and easy to set up. However, the weather alert feature does not appear to be adjustable. When I was living in Wisconsin this summer, severe weather was almost a daily occurrence. The radio will be set to alarm (and very loud) whenever a severe weather alert is updated in your area. Therefore it sometimes worked several times a minute in the middle of the night. The area we were in and controlled by the National Weather Service included locations more than an hour's drive away, but the notifications still locked us in, so of all the alerts we had to deal with, none of was for us. Suffice it to say that we got rid of this clock a week after installing it.
