Review on Faracent USB Type C Extension Cable (3 by Seth Torres

I bought this extension to get the same "just one cable" effect you get with an LG 4K Ultra Fine monitor that's designed for a MacBook with was made with my existing, not very stylish monitor. I connected the Apple USB-C Multiport Digital AV Adapter to the back of the monitor and connected power, HDMI and USB devices to it so everything is out of sight, then I run this extension on the side so I only have this extension Cable connects to my 2017 15" MacBook Pro with TouchBar. Unexpected bonus: the cable matches the gray color of my car *perfectly*. However, like others, I had a little trouble with the cable at first. At first, I noticed that that it only supports power - couldn't get it to stream video through the adapter plugged in. But I eventually found out that for some reason the orientation (which side is up) of the cable connector matters, it doesn't seem to matter on Which of the 4 USB-C ports on my MacBook do I plug the cable into, but now that the connector's seam is facing down and the cable is plugged into the left port, the one shown in the image chirm is closest, it works perfectly and stably time.
