Excited with some disappointment

I just bought a table which was 60x48. I love my big desk. They don't make 60x48 rugs like that, at least I haven't found them. But I was happy with the shorter back mat as it stretched from one side of my desk to the other. Lo and behold, the carpet is 1/2 inch shorter on each side. I'm holding the rug but looking at the gaps on either side is driving me crazy. Maybe the company can send me the right size as they advertised.
