Review on RCA to HDMI Converter - Wenter 1080P AV to HDMI Converter for Xbox/PS2/Wii/VHS/VCR/DVD, Composite to HDMI Converter for HDMI Digital TV Playback by Anurak Grubb

Just bought this for a friend's new TV. It only has two HDMI inputs, no RCA - a purchase mistake - and the old DVD player only has RCA outputs. So for €12 it was worth it. Luckily the TV also had a USB input which this converter needs for power. Please note that the specifications say USB 1A: I hope the TV can provide this stably. And that spec isn't listed on the Revain page, just in the documentation (see photo) so you won't know about it until you get it. When we talk about documentation, it's scarce. For example, there is no mention of what the 720/1080 button does. (The image in the document assumes it's a slide switch, but it's actually a button, so you don't know what mode it's in.) In a quick test with an old DVD from In 2005 there was no apparent difference in output, nor any indication of what mode it was in. Anyway, all the whining aside, it looks like it's working. As mentioned, it's being used in someone else's house, but I'll change the review if I hear otherwise (cries of frustration). In short, remember: USB power supply 1A, odd switch 720:1080, don't forget HDMI cable.
