Surprisingly bright. Looks very high quality, especially considering the very competitive price. The only problem is that the instructions are poorly written. Other buyers have asked what the orange wire is for and got a comprehensive answer that didn't help. The confusion comes from the fact that there are two red wires, one 22 gauge and the other 24 gauge. I couldn't find the orange wire. The 22 gauge wire is the main power source and the 24 gauge wire is used to turn on the brake light. Nowhere in the instructions is it explained that the power button must be on for ANY function to work. I assumed the switch controls the flash. Also turning on the switch does not start the flash. You must press the button that selects the strobe pattern to start the strobe function. This should be explained in the instructions. I didn't want to buy this light because of the built in switch, but I ended up using double sided tape to attach this switch to my roof and roll cage. Not ideal, but it works. Finally, the instructions warn against cutting or splicing the wiring harness to the switch as this may void the warranty. That is nonsense! What is the probability that the wire is the right length? I've cut and spliced as needed and the light works great. I just installed it, and after figuring out that the switch had to be on for ANY function to work, there was no problem. Only time will tell how long it lasts, but it seems durable.
