The containers are big enough and strong enough, but the lids are very difficult to put on. I actually thought both of my lids were defective as I couldn't close either of them, but after a few minutes of working with them they snapped shut. My finishing tips Make sure all 4 inner tabs are under the lid in the container. Slide off the lid and see how much is left. When there's a lot to give, the cover isn't it. When the lid is closed there is very little movement when attempting to move it. Instead of snapping one fastener at a time, snap 2 fasteners at a time (whether 2 left and right or 2 front and back). Once they're closed, grab the remaining two. Even if you close the first 2, sometimes you still have to press hard on the lid for the second set to snap into place. Once you get the hang of it, these are great containers. I just wish the lids weren't such an issue.
