The side table ZKI is easy to assemble. The table consists of 5 parts, including 3 legs, a base and a charging cable. Set up is as simple as flipping the base, screwing on the legs, and charging the table for 6-8 hours. As a side note, it will not ship partially loaded. The table must not be left after the work assignment. A rubber plug covers the charging ports. There are also buttons for turning wireless charging on and off and for backlight settings. There is a USB port (output), Aux (input) and a Micro USB port (input) (for charging the table). The first thing I checked was cell phone charging. I plugged it in and my iPhone started charging immediately. I unplugged my phone and charged it wirelessly (the old phone can be charged via the USB cable (outlet) while the new device charges wirelessly). Then I checked the light. The lights can be set to a specific color or alternate between colors. I like alternating colors or solid white light. Regardless of the color, the light is gentle on the eyes. The last thing I checked was the speaker. As soon as my phone found "desk speaker" in the bluetooth settings, my phone connected to the table immediately. I turned on the music via Spotify on my phone and it played through the table speakers. The sound is clear and the speakers direct the sound into the open space under the table. Like any other speaker, you stay paired until you turn off the speaker. Pressing the Bluetooth button on the table will disconnect. This is a well thought out table. You will use it indoors at home, but you can just as easily take it outside or use it in a tent when camping.
