The waistline is a little tight. It's not comfy for me to wear at home but it's not bad to wear for a short time. The fabric is more of a linen and it is on the thin side but overall it's not a bad deal. These boots are warm and comfortable -- lightweight but not wimpy. They do run at least a size small, so keep that in mind. They have a zipper on each side, which helps to make them easier to slip on and take off.
