Sorel makes good winter boots and this model is no exception. I have a narrow foot yet the toe box is barely big enough with thin socks. Some WD40 and coaxing seems to have corrected sticky side zippers and I have an expander in the toe box which I hope will make them comfortable for unlimited walking. These boots are warm and comfortable -- lightweight but not wimpy. They do run at least a size small, so keep that in mind. They have a zipper on each side, which helps to make them easier to slip on and take off. The zippers, it should be said, are sometimes sticky to zip, but I am hoping that continued use will improve that. I already have the Caribou boots for deeper snow and love them as well, but i also wanted a pair of ankle boots for more every day use when the snow is minimal or if it's raining. Love the style. Love the color. Front tapers down to a narrow fit and unfortunately the fit was too snug. The boots are not very flexible, making it difficult to get a comfortable fit for those with wider feet.

These boots are so comfy! I wear an 8, ordered an 8.5 so I could wear fluffy socks and they fit perfectly. That's my feedback.
