Fittings cannot be removed
Valve quality is good. Good rubber gauge caps, valve actuation is smooth. The major disadvantage of this regulator is that the thread sealant is also a permanent thread sealant: it is not possible to remove a push-in fitting and replace it with another fitting. So if you are planning to replace a bar fitting with a compression, tube or flare fitting, do not purchase this product. I applied about 150 ft-lbs of torque attempting to remove the barb fitting and eventually began to deform the valve material around the fitting before giving up.
