I bought this for my daughter so she always has a piece from her best friend with her. When our beloved cat suddenly died from an aggressive brain tumor, it was absolutely traumatic for all of us in the family, but especially for my daughter, because from childhood and kittens they were inseparable. We chose not to put the ashes in the medallion, but instead returned some trimmed fur along with the ashes, so we used fur instead. My daughter wears this all the time and will always wear it as a keepsake of her best friend and the beautiful soul that stole our hearts. Its relaxing.
