All I can say is that it absolutely lives up to the expectations of a 9 year old boy who wears it at least once a week or to church or something another place. formal family gatherings that we have. He's been using it for a few months now and it's his favorite tie. We parents like it a lot better than the clothespin because it stays in place and looks better, doesn't move as much and he can do it himself! Luckily we were able to avoid food stains and such, so we look forward to many more months of use, if not longer depending on how fast it grows! The fabric is nice, doesn't look or feel cheap to me and lasts.
