This is a regular duvet. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on him as I have a dog and he likes to eat my blankets so I bought these cheap ones. This blanket isn't the softest, but it does the job. It's cute and practical. The microfiber is decent, I washed it and dried it on a delicate fabric and it didn't fall apart so that's good. When I took it out of the box it had a few frayed threads which was very disappointing and obviously shows that you are not getting the best quality quilt for such a low price. The material reminds me of the motel blankets, it's tough. The pillows are big, that's a plus I think. The quilting pattern also detracts from the design, but it's still good. It's also not a brilliant white, but rather a slightly matt white.
