These slippers literally stink. Rubber soles smell like fish! Didn't even notice as they were bought for my elderly mom and I didn't unpack them. She wore them for a few days and I thought she might have a hygiene issue. Turns out the smell was coming from those slippers! Of course, the return period has already expired. ☹️ I tried washing them in hot water with a strong detergent, airing them, putting them on the thermostat - everything I could think of to speed up the release of gas from the rubber. One of them helped a little. On another, the fishy smell is still very noticeable. Maybe if you give it more time it will go away. But never mind - my mom refuses to try them on again after realizing they smell like fish. money down the drain. 😢
