Despite this having great reviews on and off Walmart, I used this for about 5 minutes before returning. Every single speed, even the lowest, made a significantly loud, high pitched whining noise. I love the white noise fans provide, but this wasn't it. It was also extremely cheaply made and of ugly plastic (not matte or gloss, just. Cheap). Most everything on this fan is good, however the strength that it blows air is weak. I have it set to maximum output and can’t even feel a breeze from 5’ across the room! This will work in the bedroom, as the outlet is close enough to get sufficient breeze. But we won’t be able to use it in the living room.
