Review on ๐Ÿ“บ Winegard Elite Outdoor HDTV Antenna โ€“ 70 Mile Range for VHF and UHF Channels by Logan Collier

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Limited VHF reception

I bought this antenna to receive both VHF and UHF broadcasts. Most stations are 40 miles apart in a tight cluster and have the same signal strength, according to TV Fool. I had no problem receiving all stations over channel 10.1 with this antenna installed in my attic. He received 41 stations. However, it did not receive stations 2.1, 3.1 and 6.1 or their sub-channels. I then installed the antenna outside, assuming the roof would muffle signals from the missed stations, but that didn't improve reception. After digging around on the Winegard website, I found that this antenna is only rated for high VHF and UHF signals, which are stations over 10. I wish I knew this in advance as I would not be buying this particular antenna. I was impressed. Performance of the antenna for the stations received. Do not buy this antenna if you need to receive low FM frequencies.
