Big improvement in reception. Loose screws.

Installs on second floor window. It comes with an amplifier but I wanted to connect it to 3 HDTVs so I installed a 4 port HDTV signal amplifier instead. This doubled the number of channels received from around 30 to 60. The picture is no longer interrupted for channels that I can already receive with a rabbit-ear-like HD antenna. that go to the side to stay screwed. They went out a few times. If I installed it outside, any wind could loosen them. So 4 instead of 5.

Limited VHF reception

I bought this antenna to receive both VHF and UHF broadcasts. Most stations are 40 miles apart in a tight cluster and have the same signal strength, according to TV Fool. I had no problem receiving all stations over channel 10.1 with this antenna installed in my attic. He received 41 stations. However, it did not receive stations 2.1, 3.1 and 6.1 or their sub-channels. I then installed the antenna outside, assuming the roof would muffle signals from the missed stations, but that didn't improve…

Not for me - accessories and consumables

Living in southern Maryland 54-70 miles from desired Chanel towers. The antenna to be replaced was a huge 40-year-old Winegard V-shaped boosted antenna (model cw-1001) that used 54 channels, only some of which were pixelated. It had to be transported, but in this condition it could not withstand dismantling. This new, smaller Elite 7550 with all the distance ads seemed like a logical choice. To double-check Winegard's claims, before I took the big step, the 7550 was mounted on the same mast…

Easy to assemble, set up and install in my attic!

I just had my roof re-roofed last weekend and didn't want to install my old roof top digital antenna and damage the new shingles so I checked out the loft style digital antenna and came across this elite based on a review by TechHive. I got an 8 foot 2x4 and cut it to 7 feet, installed roof to ceiling and used the remaining 1 foot+ block as a spacer to keep it off my chimney. I live 25 miles south of Charlotte, NC and my house faces NE so I was able to tilt this antenna NE far enough to pick up

Sad piece of plastic

I live in Northwest Florida (Pensacola) and installed my first antenna 18 years ago. Over the years I have installed three different types of 20 foot outdoor antennas on an antenna mast. All of them were disappointing as they received digital wireless especially when the station was using the old VHF which my local Fox and one independent still use. So one day I decided to call the station. An engineer at my local radio station whose tower is 54 miles west of me. Luckily this man lived 5 miles…

AMAZING PRODUCT AND COMPANY

Hi ok. There are so many BEAUTIFUL things to say about this product and its company. Now I have 2 of their antennas in the attic of my townhouse. I first bought their paper like the one that comes with a built in amp and it worked really well. Well, when I'm a true techie, I mean I'm a highly skilled internet network engineer, a top-notch radio amateur, not to mention a musician with a home studio. I live in Malibu, California. Unfortunately, I live among the Santa Monica Mountains, so…

  • Can't remember

I recently installed this TV antenna in my system. I don't watch a lot of network TV. Having recently switched to internet-only access with my service provider, I wanted to find a way to connect LAN stations with an OTA signal. (over the air) I started with two different versions of inexpensive indoor flat antennas. The first could not receive VHF. Most stations broadcast on the UHF band, but New York ABC uses VHF. Another cheap antenna had old-school bunny ears. It could pull on ABC, but the…
