My Rat Girls LOVE It!

Just received this pink pet bed and immediately placed it in my girl rat cage. The girls went crazy checking it out as they always do when I bring them something new for their cage. It is super soft with the long chenille nubs all over it. It is not a dense in person as it appears in the photos of the listing, but that isn’t a problem for the ‘girls’ because they really like it.It says it can be cut into smaller pieces if needed, but I didn’t do that because that would leave a bare edge with threats that the rats will want to pull on and that can be dangerous for them, so I just put the bed down on the floor of their cage, right over the cage bedding material, then sat their hidey-house over the top of it. My girl Annie went inside and after examining every inch she curled up into a potato and went to sleep right on it. She really likes it!I like that they are enjoying it and I can easily toss it into the wash when it gets dirty. There was not lint or fuzziness coming off of it so I am not worried about that happening after a wash. This would make a great shelf cover as well, with the non-slip backing it should stay in place on a shelf, unless the girls are in serious redecorating mode, then nothing will keep it in place. Sometimes they just have their own opinions about where I put things in their cage, but interestingly, they didn’t even attempt to move this bed, that is a compliment to the product.
