I don't have anything to compare it to but when I went for a walk for the first time after a minor injury I think it did what it was supposed to. I'm sure if I use it more often I'll figure out how to make it more comfortable. (It rubbed my clothes a bit and irritated my skin. Also, after about half an hour my knee might be a bit swollen because the brace got too tight.) Take your time putting them on and taking them off. it's from; it's a little more complicated than you might expect.
