I love the gentle exfoliation with the herbal bath sponge. I have used it discreetly 5 times since receiving it and have only used it in the bath and not in the shower. Even then, I never left it in the water the whole time, never wrung it out, but gently wrung the water out and let it air dry. I have NEVER used it to clean anything else. A few days ago, a HUGE piece suddenly fell into the bathtub. I used to only do a small piece, but I wasn't upset about it because it was such a small piece. However, the recently broken piece was quite large, about a third of a sponge. I think the best sponges are found in Florida and the Bahamas. You may get fewer complaints when you shop at these places. The description doesn't say anywhere, I believe, where they are grown.
