Review on ASICS Gel Quantum Running Shoes Black Men's Shoes for Athletic by Cory Mosley

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Fake but normal sneakers. NOT FOR RUNNING

Overall this product is a 2.5/5 but I give it a 2/5 for being fake and counterfeit. First, it's fake. Don't buy if you want real running shoes, they are not for running, they will hurt your feet as they don't cushion like real running shoes. I have attached a picture of the exact same Asics shoes but a REAL brand for comparison if you don't believe this product is fake. Other than that, it's not such a bad shoe. They cushion rocks and basic materials well enough that I'd say these are decent walking shoes, but buy something better if you can for the same price. I use them as walking shoes as I used my old walking shoes until they broke. But as a sports shoe, it is simple yet functional. If you're into running, don't buy them. If you're planning on wearing them to the gym or doing some simple activities that don't require long trips, then they're great. I've used them for localized home workouts and they're good for that as they're quite comfortable but don't cushion repetitive hits at all. Effects on dirt, concrete or asphalt. Also, they get a little warm when running. Lower quality shoes often get hot when walking. They also failed the cushion flex test from day one, which I learned in my old cross country days to test if the shoe had viable cushioning. I've attached a picture comparing this test run with this shoe to the new genuine Asics running shoes I just bought. Shoes. Width: Everything ok and the size seems true to size, nothing to say here. Arch Support: These shoes initially have a nice foamy feel, but that quickly fades and arch support is lost. After about 3 weeks of use there is virtually no arch support. Overall Measurements: Fit as expected. I received the size I ordered and it fits me perfectly. It doesn't look like you need to go half a size up or anything. These are true to size shoes. 8.5 is 8.5. Image explanation: The image I added to the boots with my finger is the cushioning material built into real old ASICs I had. My finger points to the real ASICs and you can see a few differences between the real ones and the fake ones. The fake has a different, less breathable mesh than the real one, and the fake has no padding material. The other picture is a comparison to the real shoe on the right, it is torn at the crease. The width and tip of a real one is wider than that of a fake. The sizing of the fake shoe is slightly thinner but true to size in length, which is likely due to the lack of heel padding, as evidenced by the thinness of the fake heel compared to the torn padding of the real shoe.
