I've been practicing drawing. I'm not good with shadows, they seemed "too good to be true", to me they are. No matter how I try to apply them, they always accumulate in bad spots, causing unwanted buildup and odd shading. I don't like the effect they give, I've seen countless videos on how to use them with no success. These are relatively small bottles for the application methods they recommend. They recommend saturating the brush and simply sweeping it all over the piece. to produce a large amount of laundry. Which in turn uses up a lot of those little bottles. I would say that they can be for beginners, I do not rule out that this is user error. My advice: Watch lots of videos on this before you buy. Make sure you are familiar with the process.
