UPDATE: I just checked and according to a comment from Samsung support, the incorrect warranty period on their website has been corrected for parts: 60 months, labour: 60 months. FIRST CHECK: Your warranty on this SSD is THREE years, parts and labour. Not FIVE as it says here. It doesn't matter that the box also says "5 Year Limited Warranty". Because when I looked at the model code on the Samsung website (MZ-76P256BW) directly on the same packaging, I came back, in the guarantee statement it said "Warranty". Information for MZ-76P256BW - Parts: 36 months, Labor: 36 months. Samsung has always strived for the highest quality. What gives such a maneuver? The previous model, the 850 Pro, had a 10-year parts and labor warranty. The shift from 10 years to (probably) 5 years casts a rather grim shadow over the product. Now this. I'm saying let's hope they start selling it on Bed, Bath & Beyond. They take everything back for a credit.
