See how there is a transformer adapter without a fixed connection to the network. This is not suitable for cameras installed outdoors, even if they are close to an electrical outlet. If this system is for internal use only, this must be clearly stated in the advertisement. Also, initially the system worked well with all the cameras shown on the monitor and once I set it up in the configuration it connected to my home wireless system and I was able to see them through the app on my phone. But the next day, even though it still detected my wireless network and showed good signal strength, it couldn't connect. So I could only see the cameras on the monitor. Hours of re-reading the instructions (which are generic and mostly applicable to other models) and clicking the on-screen menus didn't fix the problem, so I tried a factory reset. However, this only allows for a partial reset, which retains most of the settings I originally set, and does not allow for a factory reset and restarting the configuration from scratch.
