update sorry wrong rope size: it was 5/8"not 5/16". For the price with this multi tool, it can be used for its purpose. So far I've used it in my garden and also for chopping small branches and construction projects, the steel fits and can be sharpened. The sharpness is great, I cut a 5/16 foot rope with a 294 lb workload. My only suggestion to the company is to find a safer way to attach the wood finish to the outside of the metal frame. A short screw can easily come loose, causing the wooden panels to get annoyingly stuck and spinning, and you need some kind of hatchet to fasten the screws or something else to fix the decorative wooden panels.
