I've only had the belt a few weeks and have worn it twice. First impressions are that this is a great belt. I was a little nervous about cutting off too much, I was afraid I would cut off too much and ruin the thing. The instructions are easy to follow. I like the ratchet rather than finding the correct strap hole. It's the perfect belt if you're "between the belt holes," as many of us are from time to time. Perfect fit every time. As for the cons, there are just a few minor things. When unpacking, the belt initially smelled of petrol, but this quickly dissipated. The color of the belt is more like an aged brown than the darker cognac in the product photo, so it doesn't match the shoes I would pair it with. Finally, in the men's room, it's a little awkward when adjusting the belt as the ratcheting noise is louder than I thought. Generally small claims to an excellent product in general. I'm not sure I'll ever buy a regular belt again.
