Upon opening the box, it was clear that the Quality was BAD. The filter housing was dirty. The key was nowhere in the package. This is a dedicated filter assembly tool. If you don't have one, how do you lock/open the housing to change the water filter? A plus. But it's a scam. Once you look in the cap you can see the workmanship Extremely poor workmanship The water inlet is limited to about 1/2" even if the inlet is 1" so you lose pressure when the filter is is "Standard", also the nipple is molded from a very thin plastic and was broken on both filters so the cap needs to be replaced (send both back.) Now a very important point GASKET where and how to put it is replaced ?Did it one ID? It should be replaced with a new water filter. This is my perspective. This is my advice when installing threads, to avoid water leakage please use "T plus 2" Lowes pipe thread sealant. Luke
